Words or Phrase vs. Subject searching

There are two ways to search for information on a topic:
  • using keywords from the title or description of the item
  • using specific subject headings

Using Words or Phrase searches everything in an item's record, including the author, title, and subjects.

Using Subject limits your search to specific Subject Terms assigned to each record.
