The Copper Quill Award honors a local author for publishing a book and for their body or work that adds contribution to literature in Coconino County. First presented in 1995, the award is designed to recognize the many talented authors living in our local area who have made significant contributions to literature. A variety of genres are considered in the selection process. Previous Copper Quill recipients serve as the selection committee with the Friends of the Library acting as a liaison. Recipients are honored at a public event and presented with a plaque and stipend.

Please read all the requirements for submitting the application. Nominations are accepted beginning July 1st to September 30th.
