LiDA - The Companion to Aspen

LiDA (Library Discovery App) is a companion mobile app designed to enhance the Aspen Discovery experience. With Aspen Discovery's powerful web-based catalog, LiDA uses mobile device features to make using the Library easy and personal.

LiDA syncs with the library's existing catalog to manage your account and settings. Patrons are able to browse the library catalog, browse different collections, place holds, renew items, and access a digital library card with a scannable barcode, all from the convenience of their mobile phone. 

LiDA also utilizes features such as geolocation to help users find nearby libraries and is being developed to support library notifications, barcode scanning, library events and calendar, and mobile self-checkout.
