Celebrate America250!
2026 is America's semiquincentennial—the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence—and the Flagstaff City-Coconino County Public Library and other local organizations are offering a number of activities to help you celebrate!
Explore American history and culture by participating in our America250 Bingo. Everyone who gets bingo will earn a small prize, and adult winners will be entered into a raffle for a gift card to Bookmans, Bright Side Book Shop, or Barnes and Noble. Sign up at tiny.cc/america250 or grab a bingo sheet from the information desk.
Learn about the voting process by taking a tour of the Coconino County Elections Center. Elections Department staff will guide you through the entire election process, starting with ballot design, equipment, and the role of Election Board Workers. They will also explain how tabulation works. Registration is required, and two tours are available on March 17th and April 8th.

This event is for children aged 5 and up, and registration is required.
In addition to the Library activities, the Arizona State Library will be bringing the Arizona Traveling Museum to sites around the state. This exhibit features a replica Liberty Belland and engaging, interactive exhibits on American history and Arizona's past, present, and future. The vehicle is fully ADA accessible, and the museum is free for all ages! It will be visiting the Page Public Library on April 2nd, the Fredonia Fire Department on April 4th, and the Flagstaff Visitor Center on April 6th.
